PRP AND MESOTHERAPY TREATMENT
WHAT IS PRP AND HOW IS IT OBTAINED?
PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is a treatment method that involves drawing a small amount of the patient’s own blood (1–2 tubes), which is then processed to separate and concentrate the platelets. The resulting platelet-rich plasma is activated with ozone and reinjected into the patient via intradermal or intramuscular routes. This technique utilizes the body’s own healing potential.
HOW DOES PRP WORK?
Platelets are natural components of blood responsible for clotting. They also contain growth factors and natural healing agents. When PRP is injected into the skin, it releases growth factors and stem cells into the damaged area, initiating the regeneration process. This leads to reduced blemishes, fading of acne scars, and a firmer, more radiant, and youthful skin appearance.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OF PRP?
Since PRP is prepared using the patient’s own blood, there is no risk of infectious disease transmission or allergic reaction. Mild redness may occur at the injection site, which typically resolves within a few hours to one day.
FREQUENCY OF TREATMENT
PRP is particularly effective when combined with facial mesotherapy in treatments for facial rejuvenation and hair loss prevention. For scalp and face/neck rejuvenation treatments, 4–8 weekly sessions are generally sufficient. Afterwards, maintenance sessions can be done once a month, and then twice a year to preserve youthful skin appearance. The exact number of sessions may vary depending on individual needs. Each session lasts approximately 15–20 minutes.
POST-TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
It is recommended not to wash or cleanse the treated area for 4–6 hours post-treatment. Additionally, makeup and cosmetic products should be avoided for 12–24 hours following the procedure.
